Reap What You Sow

… is my photographic work for the ENDS Report 2025…

Portrait and Street Photography commission by the ENDS Report

A photographic commission for the investigative report “Reap What You Sow”

A study of the pollution impact on people and the environment at Thornton-Cleveleys, UK, from the historic and current chemical industry in operation in the area.

For the ENDS ReportI photographed the area adjacent to the chemical factory, a resident on the border with the factory and one of their ducks - whose eggs now cannot be eaten, a grower at the allotment effected by the pollution coming from the adjacent factory - whose produce cannot be and a whistle blower/ former employee at the factory.

“…After obtaining never-before-seen documents, ENDS Report can reveal that AGC Chemicals is making products containing the banned and carcinogenic forever chemical PFOA, and allowing it to be released into the air. The company says that production of the chemical is inadvertent and within regulations – but it is on-going – and ENDS has uncovered that AGC has known about the risk posed to its workers for almost 20 years. How did this happen?…”
